Question of the day: Why do people still think it is ok to shout on their cell phones in enclosed public places?
Whilst getting my large, double bag (hehehe) green tea at Coffe Bean & Tea Leaves, or whatev, I heard a full conversation of some girl my age on her magenta coated I-phone. I learned how she had looked over "sooooo" many resumes that day, and they were all "sooooo lame." First of all, bitch, do you really want to throw it in all the other Tea Leavers faces (some of whom are clearly looking for work online), in this shit-hole economy where half the people in their mid-twenties that I know are unemployed? Yes, she does. Oh, but SHE'S working, and apparently it's sooooo annoying.
That isn't the point though. I have observed, over the cell phone years, that people, even young idiots, have become a little more cordial about their voices bouncing off of cold flat surfaces, and violently into innocent bystanders ear canals. There are, however, a few silly little ignorants who gab and blab away at top volume as if they are in their living room. Or is it that they WANT everyone to know what they are verbally vomiting out of their mouths?
At this very moment I am listening to how the man behind me got no sleep last night so he can't meet "Bob" for coffee unless it's a decaf frappacino. Really, dude? Don't fucking care. Take your pussy decaf frap convo outside, or man up and text him you'll meet him for a double americano. :)
Thanks, Em
